Why? Because Nothing Is What It Appears To Be!

Prior to entering the Union in 1845, Texas was a free, independent, sovereign nation. And it was the only sovereign nation to ever become a state of the Union until Hawaii in 1950.  The one condition in the 1845 Texas constitution agreed upon that allowed Texas to join the Union was that it would 'perpetually' FOREVER be a republic free, sovereign, independent state/nation. Guess what: The United States has not been a republic since 1860! Texas was the last confederate state to cease fighting in the civil war and the last state to adopt the 14th Amendment which 'turned' it into a democracy which is communism.
